About This Role

Shipyard Wiper – Private 60m MY

Start date: 19th October until 30th January 2027

Location: Europe

Package: Salary in Euros, inclusive of leave

Experience and attributes required:

  • Experience as Wiper cleaning on commercial vessels or Yachts.
  • Ability to maintain a good working environment in all working areas and always ensure good housekeeping and safe working practice.
  • Basic understanding of engine room equipment.
  • Experience cleaning Engine Room bilges and equipment. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and cleaning techniques.
  • Experience with small corrosion repairs and basic paintwork in Engine room.
  • Basic engineering skills to assist with projects alongside qualified personnel.
  • Fluent in English language and good communication skills.

Qualifications Required:

  • Fully updated STCW training
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Only candidates who meet the listed criteria will be considered for this temporary shipyard role.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
