Tender Engineer for operation of small boats/tenders
*Please note COVID testing will be undertaken and a possible quarantine period in a hotel before joining the Operation*
candidates in Europe are given first consideration due to travel arrangements and with valid Schengen visa if applicable
Start: end of March
Location: Middle East for the summer season, winters in Europe
Package: Paid in Euros, 114 days leave per year
You are part of engineer of a large fleet of different size boats & tenders. You will be directly involved with various facilities and their operation.
Experience and attributes required:
Extensive Marine engineering who can provide technical and mechanical trouble shooting and repairs to various types of marine engines
• Servicing & Maintenance of Inboard & Outboard Engines
• Knowledge of Stern Drive & Hamilton Jet Drive Propulsion
• Knowledge of Volvo, Mercury & Cummins Engines
• Knowledge of Whisper, Fischer Panda & Cummins Onan Generators
• Fault Finding Mechanical & Electrical Systems
• Knowledge of AC & DC Electrical Systems
• Data Recording of Engine Hours & Servicing
• Dealing With Other Crew Members on Board & With in The Fleet
• Use of Excel & Word
• Call Outs & Break Downs With Little Time to Prepare
• Use of IDEA (PMS-Planned Maintenance Systems)
• Time Keeping & Punctuality
• Carry Out Work Unsupervised
• Using Your Initiative
• Working As An individual & As Part of A Team
• Flexibility
Qualifications required:
• AEC 1 & 2
• Electrical Qualification Of Some Sort (Not Necessary But Would Be Good)
• Engineering NVQ/Diploma/Degree Or Equivalent
• STCW with PSA
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months' validity)
• Seafarer's Discharge Book (preferred)
• PBL2 (preferred)
• Yellow fever & covid vaccination card (client request)

Non smoker/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
