Chief Engineer & 2nd Engineer 50m+ Private/Charter MY- Australia & Pacific

Are you an experienced Superyacht Engineer currently in Australia?

Are you looking for an ongoing relief / rotation or a fulltime opportunity?

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and flight cancellations a 50m+ private/charter MY is on the search for a local Chief Engineer and a 2nd Engineer ( in Australia) to join their 50m+MY for an immediate start

The ideal candidates will have close to 8 and 5 full years’ experience as a minimum + AV/IT system experience needed as well.

Chief Engineer:

• Certificate of competency C/E RIII/3 OR RIII/2 (Y2) – MTU experience
• ENG1, STCW, Proficiency in Security Duties, Advanced firefighting
• Cayman Islands Endorsement recommended
• Seaman’s record book

2nd Engineer:

• Certificate of competency OOWRIII/1 OR RIII/3 (Y3) – MTU Experience
• ENG1, STCW, Proficiency in Security Duties, Advanced firefighting
• Cayman Islands Endorsement recommended
• Seaman’s record book

Salary Package – TBC (below as guide from captain only) and on experience

Chief Engineer Full time $US9k, on Rotation $US6.5k, (still to be confirmed full time or rotation)

2nd Engineer Full time $US5,500 on Rotation $US4,500, (still to be confirmed full time or rotation)

Vacation 38 days, if fulltime

Immediate works will be 8 weeks yard with a special periodical ABS survey, Exterior touch ups, Tight schedule.

Preference to candidates currently in QLD.

May consider long term relief options until permanent Engineers can be secured

The yacht will maintain a permanent presence within the Australia/Pacific region
