Cook/Chef 74’ SY Catamaran- Caribbean

Are you interested in sailing the Caribbean, St Thomas, Bermuda & up the US East Coast?

A well run 74’ SY Catamaran (charter and private) is on the search for an experienced Chef/Cook for their Caribbean and US itinerary
The yacht is couple friendly and would consider teams or solo candidates
Currently sailing the Caribbean, the yacht will tackle Bermuda before heading up the east coast to Newport
The yacht is seeking a chef/cook who can assist with crew meals (crew of 3) and up to 6-7 guests
The chef will ideally have a diverse culinary range, from Mediterranean influence (salads) to BBQ, Pub Gastrom, Italian and fresh fish/ seafood

The Ideal Candidates

• STCW, ENG1
• Sailing Yacht experience (preferable, but not essential)
• Some culinary training, short courses or trade qualified
• Diverse culinary range
• Can provision accurately
• Maintain clean and organised work station and stores
• Can influence/set menus to cater to your strengths
• B1/B2 (or able to get at short notice)
• Fun, easy going and active
• Enjoys Water sports

Salary Package: $4000 US-$5000 US / month DOE

$2500 per year travel fund

4 weeks paid holiday

Bonus of up to 20% of yearly salary at end of 1-year contract
