Cook/Chef 75’ Sail Catamaran- World Cruise

Ready to join a world travelling SY with a terrific small crew?
Are you an experienced cook/chef who loves adventure?

The Job starts Mid December or Late January, joining a young crew of four the cook/chef will have their own private cabin.

The crew and owners are very big on Scuba diving and the chef will have or be looking to attain certificates / training

Travelling the world for the owners who fly in and out at various ports, the yacht will also take on the occasional charter along the way.  This is not a typical yacht job, mostly remote areas but always stunning.  Must love the ocean and water-sports to be happy.

The Ideal Candidate

• Cook /Chef experience on yachts of similar size
• Positive, happy and easy going
• Loves water sports and travelling
• Not prone to seasickness
• Can provision in remote locations
• Can improvise cooking for off the beaten track locations
• Can commit to minimum a year 

We will be starting in S. Africa and sailing across the Atlantic to the Caribbean where the yacht will be based over the next year.  Once back in the Caribbean the yacht will resume a hopefully busy charter schedule.   

The Job starts mid-December or after Christmas if candidate wishes

• Salary $4000 USD 
• $2500 per year travel fund 
• 4 weeks paid holiday 
• Bonus of up to 20% of yearly salary at end of 1 year contract
• Even split in charter tips 
• If not SCUBA certified will get certification on board.
