Captain/ Engineer + Stew/Cook for a 78’ New Build Motor Cat- Australia

Are you an experienced team looking to develop a longstanding relationship with terrific owners?

A lovely Australian family is looking for an experienced team to manage/crew their new build private motor catamaran.

The yacht is used for a mixture of private use with the family and corporate style entertaining.

The vessel maintains a permanent berth in Sydney however the yacht will also venture to Melbourne and the Whitsundays.

Experience on the East Coast of Australia would be preferable but will also consider strong teams who have proven themselves in Europe or Caribbean

The yacht is run to a high standard and is built for comfortable cruising both inshore and offshore with a long fuel range.

The captain/engineer will have at least 2-3 years command time on vessel of similar size or larger.

The stewardess/cook will be a fantastic allrounder who has worked in a similar capacity as a cook/chef or stewardess on superyachts.

Experience working well together as a team is essential as is a professional and diligent attitude.

The vessel is run privately so will consider captains with either AMSA or MCA qualifications

The owners have previously owned much larger vessels and are familiar with the costs involved in maintaining the vessel to the highest standard

The engines are also still under warranty for any major repairs or technical issues

The Ideal Team

• Experienced with small vessel management
• Proven time working together as a team
• High level of professionalism
• Master 200 tonnes or master 5 minimum
• Hands on engineering experience
• STCW
• Command time on vessels of similar size & beam
• Stew/cook to be very confident in a blended position
• Experience cooking for owners and guests
• Full work rights for Australia
• Start Date- ASAP
