About this role

Chief Engineer – Private 45m M/Y

An opportunity for a hands-on Chief Engineer to join a busy private yacht in the shipyard, preparing for a busy summer season extensively travelling the Med, and completing 20 year survey,

– Start date: 25th October
– Itinerary: Med, Italy home base
– Package: Salary in Euros, 3 months leave

Experience and attributes required:

– Hands-on engineer who likes to do tasks in house
– Strong engineering background ideally on yachts
– Yacht private but ran like commercial with full ISM
– Experience with surveys

Qualifications required:

– Y4 / EOOW (essential)

– Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum 6 months)

– STCW (Fully updated)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
