About this role

Rotational Chief Engineer – Private 50m M/Y

Private 50m M/Y with an international crew on board. The vessel maintains a busy private schedule and offers a professional working environment.

Candidates currently located in Europe/UK will be given priority.

Start date: 15 October
Itinerary: Mediterranean 
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 2:2 rotation

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chief Engineer or Sole Engineer on 40m+ M/Y or S/Y
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Impeccable electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver quick solutions
• Professional presentation and team-oriented approach

Qualifications required:
• Minimum Y4 CoC – Y3 preferred
• MTU Certificate (advantageous but not essential if holding a commercial CoC)
• STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
