About this role

Sole Engineer – Charter 38m M/Y

We are recruiting for a Sole Engineer on board a busy charter motor yacht. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Engineer looking for a long-term position on a vessel with a strong charter calendar. The yacht runs with 7 crew and values a positive and collaborative work environment.

Start date: ASAP
Itinerary: Greece and Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, permanent contract with leave included

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Sole Engineer on similar-sized charter yachts
• Confident in managing all engineering operations onboard independently
• Experienced in handling pressure during back-to-back charters
• Proactive, with a positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• Strong organisational and communication abilities

Qualifications required:
• Minimum AEC2 – EOOW preferred
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
• Valid references are mandatory

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
