About this role

Seasonal 2nd Engineer – 50m Private MY

The yacht is currently undergoing a major refit

Start date: ASAP
Location: Med
Package: Monthly salary in Euros – 38 days leave

Experience and attributes required:
Shipyard experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as 3rd or 2nd Engineer on 30m+ yachts.
Hard working, motivated Engineer who is able to troubleshoot and problem solve whilst working alongside the Chief engineer.
Open minded and flexible to changes in plan, with a positive demeanour.
Some AVIT and electrical skills would be preferable but not a must.

Qualifications Required:
Y3/EOOW
Fully updated STCW training
Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
Seaman’s Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
