A long standing client is visiting St Tropez for 2 months in the summer – June & July. This is a middle eastern family who will be travelling with their Sous Chef who will be there to assist for the duration.

You will be catering breakfast, lunch and dinner for 10 adults and 8 children.

YOU MUST ALREADY BE BASED IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily according to the family's preferences and dietary requirements
  • Creating daily and weekly menus based on seasonal produce and family tastes, including Arabic, international, and healthy cuisine
  • Managing the kitchen operations efficiently alongside the sous chef
  • Collaborating with the sous chef to ensure smooth meal preparation and service
  • Ensuring all meals are freshly prepared, presented beautifully, and served on time
  • Shopping for high-quality, fresh ingredients or managing kitchen orders and inventory
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen at all times according to food safety standards
  • Preparing special dishes for events, guests, and family gatherings when required
  • Offering lighter snacks, juices, and refreshments throughout the day
  • Managing food storage and stock rotation to minimise waste
  • Adapting meals for individual family members’ allergies, intolerances, or specific health goals
  • Occasionally assisting in hosting formal dinners or casual family events at the villa
  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality within the private household setting
  • Handling last-minute changes or special requests calmly and professionally

Ideal Candidate 

  • Knowledge of St Tropez for local supermarkets and food markets 
  • Exceptional culinary skills in Middle Eastern and international cuisines with a strong focus on presentation and flavor
  • Discretion, professionalism, and deep respect for cultural and religious practices
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing schedules, dietary needs, and special requests
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organization skills to run a smooth kitchen alongside the sous chef
  • High standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen management
  • Must be available for the full 2 months 
  • Must be able to drive 

Package

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
