About this role

Deckhand – Private S/Y 30m
We are looking for a seasonal Deckhand to join a professional and active crew aboard a 30m sailing yacht based in Palma. This is a great opportunity to join a well-run vessel for the Mediterranean season, with potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have sailing experience and ideally hold a Yachtmaster Offshore.

Start date: ASAP
Itinerary: Mediterranean (Palma-based)
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 38 days leave 

Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 season’s experience as a Deckhand on sailing yachts
• Confident with deck operations, line handling, and watchkeeping
• Comfortable with tender driving and watersports setup
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude
• Positive and professional demeanor with good communication skills

Qualifications required:
• Yachtmaster Offshore (preferred)
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
