Job Title: Private Seasonal Chef for 120ft New Build (Male Candidates Only)
Location: Florida/Bahamas/Caribbean

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, motivated Chef for a U.S.-flagged, 120ft private yacht. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary-trained chef with an excellent attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with the Chief Stewardess. The ideal candidate is a team player who can seamlessly provide daily meals for both guests and crew, adapt menus to dietary needs, and deliver a “family style” experience that includes beach setups and informal service all while maintaining a clean workspace. This program is busy, and requires organization and presence.
The perfect candidate will have a positive attitude and a “can-do” work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest & Crew Meals: Prepare and serve daily meals for guests and crew, with an emphasis on fresh, family-style presentations.
- Menu Planning: Develop diverse, varied menus for both guests and crew, accommodating dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutritional needs.
- Provisioning: Source ingredients skillfully while traveling; maintain a well-stocked, organized pantry.
- Food Safety: Adhere to strict food safety and storage guidelines, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Event Setup: Execute informal “family style” setups and assist with occasional beach or off-yacht dining experiences
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workspace with an emphasis on time management.
- Presentation & Creativity: Deliver beautifully presented, creative dishes that enhance the guest experience.
- Cleanliness: Due to the compact nature of our galley, maintain a consistently clean and organized workspace is essential. This includes adhering to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning routines and a strong focus on attention to detail.
- Computer Skills: Utilize digital tools for menu planning, accounting, and provisioning documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven background in professional culinary settings with excellent provisioning and menu planning skills.
- Personality: Strong communication and teamwork skills, calm under pressure, with a proactive and “can-do” attitude.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
