SEASONAL or FULL TIME STEW/COOK - 30M M/Y - PRIVATE (AUSTRALIAN FLAGGED)

YACHT INFORMATION:

A professional Captain is searching for an experienced and energetic stew/cook.

When owners are onboard, breakfast, lunch and dinner cooking is required for 2 adults and 3 children as well as Stewardess work.

The yacht is in Airlie Beach so a local crew member will be ideal.

This is a family boat with a lovely owner and is not a party boat.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

STCW

AMSA Medical or ENG1

ITINERARY: Whitsundays.

START DATE: Septmber 2024

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time or Seasonal contract. Australian working conditions apply.

SALARY: AUD$ – DOE

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be an Australian or New Zealander, to apply or have Australian working rights.
Ideally located in Australia or New Zealand.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Experience length:  min 6 months

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
