Female Chef – Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced live-in Chef to join our household in Abu Dhabi, UAE. There is a fully-staffed kitchen and the ideal candidate will be a versatile culinary professional with specific expertise in gluten and wheat-free cooking, family-style meal preparation (for a family with 4 young children), lactose-free options, and a knack for creating healthy and nutritious dishes. In addition to daily family meals, the Chef will also be responsible for assisting during catering events as needed. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment is essential, and the ability to manage inventory effectively is crucial. Responsibilities: 

• Prepare daily meals for a family of six, focusing on the children's meals, considering all dietary preferences and intolerances. 

• Create family-friendly, nutritious, and well-balanced menus that cater to diverse dietary needs. 

• Plan and prepare meals for special occasions and events, ensuring high standards. 

• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to the highest hygiene and sanitation standards. 

• Efficiently manage and organise kitchen supplies, monitor expiry dates, and replenish as necessary. 

• Follow recipes and instructions precisely while infusing creativity and innovation into dishes. 

• Adapt to changing dietary requirements and preferences within the household. 

• Collaborate with the family and house staff to ensure meal plans align with schedules and preferences. 

Ideal Candidate: 

• Candidates local to the UAE are preferred. 

• Proven culinary experience, with a strong background in gluten and wheat-free cooking. 

• Familiarity with lactose-free alternatives and the ability to cater to dietary restrictions. 

• Passion for preparing family-style meals and a knack for creating child-friendly dishes. 

• Creative and innovative culinary skills with a deep understanding of nutrition. 

• Proficient in following recipes and instructions, with the ability to adapt to changing needs. 

• Strong organisational skills, including inventory management and monitoring expiry dates. 

• Exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen. 

• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with household staff and the family. 

• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic household environment. 

Package: 

• Salary: 10,000 AED per month
