Wilsonhalligan are looking for a Marine Mechanic to join an established, industry leading Company based in the North East UK.

The ideal candidate will be but not limited to:

- Conducting comprehensive testing and commissioning of a variety marine mechanical equipment and systems.
- Be doing systematic fault findings, diagnostics and repair of marine equipment by both physical investigation and computer.
- Adhering to targets and schedules.
- Participating in sea trials to assess the performance of marine vessels in operational  conditions
- Applying problem solved skills to address unforeseen challenges
- Maintaining and repairing boat trailers

Qualifications and Experience needed:

- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanics or 3 years relevant experience would be an advantage
- Experience in a Marine environment

Start: ASAP
Location: North East, UK 
Salary: £40k PA

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
