4th Engineer (MY100m+)(EOOW)

A young, eager, hard-working, keen-to-learn, rotational 4th Engineer is required for a MY 100m+ vessel based in the Mediterranean Sea. The vessel has limited plans for 2024 but it has a very active engineering department, making for a superb environment to learn and develop ones skills. There is also a long serving top shelf multinational crew onboard and the vessel was built in one of the best shipyards in the world. This role is most suited to someone looking to take on their first role within the superyacht industry and to build their experience and knowledge onboard. Ideally, you should be teachable, fit, positive, and professional with a "how high?" attitude.

The start date for this role is late MAY 2024

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) and Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum EOOW or Y3 (Strict requirement)
• No previous yachting experience is required but one must be able to demonstrate a strong maritime mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Candidate must be willing to commit long term and grow within the onboard team
• Good health and good sobriety
• English as mother tongue preferred
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• No visible tattoos and no smokers
• Preferably, hold a Schengen visa, but allowances for supporting vessel applications may be available.
