Housekeeper/Cook – Beverly Hills

Silver Swan are working on a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Part-time Housekeeper/Cook to join a lovely UHNW family based in Beverly Hills, California. The successful Housekeeper/Cook will work closely with the existing Housekeeping team to provide museum-level cleaning to all areas of the interior and exterior of the property. You will be working closely with the chef, assisting with cooking a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, and providing coverage when the chef is not working. This role will require high organizational skills, inventory and wardrobe management. Shifts will vary from week to week, so flexibility is essential. Responsibilities:

•    All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence.
•    Maintenance of tidiness throughout all areas of the household.
•    Managing daily inventory, ensuring appropriate back stock, overseeing deliveries.
•    Assisting the Chef in preparing, cooking and plating a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, providing coverage when the Chef is not working.
•    Additional duties as requested
 
Ideal Candidate:

•    Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills
•    Professional and well-presented
•    Has strong culinary skills, ideally with previous experience cooking for UHNW clients.
•    Lives within commutable distance to Beverly Hills, California
•    Possesses flexibility to work weekends, and early morning/late shifts when required
•    Excellent time-management and organisational skills
•    Exceptional attention to detail
•    Has previous experience working for UHNW clients, with proven longevity as a full-time Housekeeper/Cook
•    Excellent references from previous employers
•    Must have a right to work in the US

Package:

•    Salary: $28-$35 per hour
•    Hours: Some early am 5 hour shifts, and other full day 12 hour shifts. Expected 35 hours per week.
•    Two weeks PTO per year, $475/month toward choice of various Blue Shield HMO / PPO plans.
•    6 days annual sick leave
•    Start date: ASAP
•    Live-out position
