About this role

Temp Sole Chef Opportunity aboard Private 40m M/Y

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Chef to show their knowledge and talent throughout a two month temp placement!

Start: For the months of May and June

Location: Cruising Central Pacific

Package: Very competitive salary paid in Euros, inclusive of leave

This positions could become permanent for the right candidate

Experience Required: 

  • Minimum1  year experience on a similar yacht in the same role
  • Ability to cook for a crew of 8-9 and Guests of up to 10/12
  • Exceptional levels of hygiene and safety
  • Hands-on with effective communication skills
  • Possess the ability to provide a varied repertoire of modern, healthy, well-balanced meals
  • Ability to work in an effective manner with excellent time management, orgaisation and stock control skills
  • Professional appearance and being extremely fit and active

Qualifications Required:

  • Culinary Training Certifications
  • STCW(Fully Updated)with PDSD
  • Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
  • Food Hygiene & Safety
  • B1/B2 Visa
  • COVID Vaccinated (at owners request)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
