2nd Engineer (MY 45m+) (Min Y3)

A suitably qualified second engineer is required for a 45-meter motor vessel currently located in the Middle East. This is a 2-month contract, after which the future with the vessel can be discussed. The ideal candidate is to hold a Y3 (or equivalent) certification and must be ready to travel and join ASAP. The role will be primarily to maintain and operate the vessel's systems while provding key support to the Chief Engineer. The vessel is to be kept in top condition, ready for owner trips when needed.

The start date for this role is immediate. You must be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
• Minimum Y3 or equivalent
• Must show strong mechanical and electrical ability
• Helpful and willing to work as a team player
• MTU experience is advantageous
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
