Captain and Cook team required for 80ft sailboat

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Captain and Cook team to run an 80ft (24.4m) sailboat, based out of Antigua and will be on the charter market. 

The yacht is an Ocean 80 schooner and was custom built in 1995 but has undergone a refit in 2022. There is accomodation for 8 guests in 4 cabins and can accomodate 3 crew. It is MCA compliant.

The owners wish to present the yacht at the Antigua yacht charter show in early December.

Ideally we are looking for a couple who have a proven track record of working together and who also have solid charter experience and who are familiar with cruising the Leeward and Windwards islands.

The Captain must also be confident with engineering skills pertaining to a yacht of this size and the Cook should also be happy to look after the interior although a 3rd crew member will be employed when chartering. When not on charter, the owners intend to use the yacht when their schedules allow. 

Captain: Yachtmaster Ocean CE /200gt preferred and AEC desirable. STCW, ENG 1/Seafarers medical in date

Cook:Some formal culinary training for the Cook is highly desirable. STCW, ENG 1/Seafarers medical in date

Fluent English is essential.  

Salary and leave package is negotiable

Flights and medical cover provided.

Initial interviews will likely take place via Zoom progressing to in person interview in UK/Europe.
