A recently purchased private 72’ MY is on the search for a captain / engineer for either a delivery or permanent contract.
The senior Australian owner would like his vessel (currently in Darwin) in the Gold Coast for summer , and will pin ball their way down the QLD coast
Very relaxed / laid back cruising, owner & wife will FIFO to various locations and may undertake some of the delivery
After summer on the Gold Coast the owner aims to cruise the Kimberley
Previous command experience is essential and an understanding of basic engine room maintenance & potential troubleshooting
The owner would be open to a team running the yacht fulltime or a solo captain / engineer happy to organise additional delivery / seasonal crew for more extended passages.
ETD from Darwin within the next 2-4 weeks

• Captain / Engineer time on similar size
• Experience with coastal passages
• Personable & easy communication style
• Safety conscious
• Top end or QLD cruising experience advantageous
• Open to teams
• Open to Delivery or Permanent
• Australian work rights

Salary: Depending experience of Captain & if fulltime or delivery
