Deckhand (urgent) 35m Expedition Charter/Private MY – QLD

A high profile 35m expedition MY is in urgent need of a deckhand with tender driving skills for an ASAP start
Ideally the role would be permanent / fulltime but due to the urgency the vessel will also consider a 2-month contract
The vessel has some higher end diving & fishing charters in far north QLD , leaving the dock in less than 2 weeks & therefore will need the deckhand to commence next week to get accustomed to the vessel before departure
The deckhand will work under an experienced Captain & 1st Officer and must have a solid work ethic, reliable, lots of energy for wash downs / boat prep, enjoys water sports and can drive a small tender
The vessel will only consider candidates in QLD or able to get to QLD for the job

The Ideal Candidate
• STCW & Seafarer medical
• Some deck experience but will consider green
• Keen to learn
• Tender driving experience
• Excellent attitude & work ethic
• Diving or fishing skills a plus
• Work rights for Australia
• Available for an immediate start
