Travel Nanny/Childhood Educator for family bound on a round the world Journey! – TRAM

A casual, fun family with twin 3 year old boys is seeking a Nanny/Childhood Educator to become part of their family enjoying the coastal life in Coffs Harbour, NSW and traveling all over the world for the next 2-3 years!

They plan to home school the boys whilst home and to support them during their upcoming travels, they are looking for a full time person to complement their family and provide both nurturing and educational care for the twins. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term opportunity for the upcoming stages of the children’s lives. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of caring for the children.  Keeping the children active and stimulated with creative age appropriate activities.  Home-schooling the children (years K to 6) and providing appropriate discipline where necessary.

Our ideal candidate will be qualified to teach years K to 6; Have relevant experience as a teacher, and/or with home-schooling, or in a Nanny role;  Are willing to make the Coffs Harbour, NSW region their home;  (Temporary accommodation can be provided for up to 9 months);  Are willing and able to travel for extended periods (approx. 6 months each year, and up to 6 months at a time);   Love traveling, are creative and able to create fun on-the-go, especially during long plane, ships and car journeys;  Have a tolerance for jet lag, sea sickness, or have a fear of flying and most importantly are looking for a long term commitment.

Working hours are as follows:

While at home, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm

While traveling, 6 days per week, 12:00pm to 9:00pm – but this may change based on the itinerary and it is essential candidates are fully flexible.
