Carpenter (MY 120m+)

An experienced and qualified Carpenter is required by a 120m+ new build vessel which is due for launch in the middle of this year. The right candidate should hold a EDH / Able Seaman / Ordinary Seaman certificate and have all necessary qualifications, travel documents and certifications up to date. Reporting to the Bosun the ideal candidate must work well within a team and perform a role within the deck department according to the highest standards and procedures. Candidates are to be able to demonstrate a good track record onboard a large yacht or cruise ship and have good references to match.

You are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. This is a rotational position. The rotation schedule is to be determined.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum 3+ Years in similar role and rank experience
• EDH / Able Seaman / Ordinary Seamans certificate required
• A qualification in Carpentry would be very well received
• Excellent set of cleaning, painting, maintenance skills
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
