A very high profile (new to Australia) 42m private MY is on the search for a Head/Sole Chef looking to step up in responsibility.
The yacht is currently located in Europe with plans to be in Australia early April 2022
Open to an experienced Sous chef looking to step up to a Head Chef role
The vessel will be permanently basing itself in Sydney (live onboard or ashore) with plans for a yearly international trip (in winter) of either Fiji, Vanuatu or New Caledonia
The family are extremely high profile but very down to earth and personable and have a habit of retaining crew for many years.
Initially the Head Chef will assist the yacht in Galley set-up, including equipment and organising stores
Ideally the Chef could join initially in Barcelona for 2-3 weeks to help get the vessel prepped before loading the ship onto dock express, then re-joining late March/April for arrival, however open to a chef who could join on yachts arrival in Australia in April
Food requirement: High protein, low carb, low sugar, healthy clean / organic produce, some vegetarian … diverse culinary range

  • Chef experience on Superyachts
  • Fine Dining Experience
  • Interested in a yacht with home base but happy with extended yearly trip
  • High level of professionalism
  • Experience with provisioning in Australia
  • Can work well with a professional team
  • Work rights for Australia/ NZ

Start: Flexible

Salary: Excellent Salary package for the right candidate, paid in Euro’s
