Position Snapshot

• $70,000-$75,000 + Super / Year AUD DOE (will match to candidates’ experience)
• Run with 4 crew
• Private family use only

Join this private 33m expedition style vessel as it travels the Australian East Coast and remote top end.
The yacht is owned by a lovely Australian family who will be utilising the yacht for private use only.
The owner has teenage children who like to get involved with snorkelling, fishing and water sports adventures (mainly in school holiday periods) . The captain & crew will very much be looked upon as extensions to the family and will have the opportunity to experience the various activities and locations the yacht finds itself in
Itinerary – Sydney –Gold Coast (yard) Winter- Kimberley and Whitsundays
The Cook will assist both the mate on deck and stew , but primary focus will be looking after the basic cooking requirement onboard , for crew and guests
The food requirement is quite basic, family style cooking (doesn’t require a chef level) and the owners quite often enjoy cooking for themselves
Most of 2022 will be spent in the remote Kimberley & top end
The captain hopes that all roles will be slightly blended and that everyone helps everyone to create a memorable guest experience onboard
Post Kimberley season the yacht will look to base around the Whitsundays region as its home port

Ideal Candidate

• cooking experience on yachts, residences or cafes
• some previous yacht experience or looking to build
• Hospitality background favourable
• Good allrounder , happy to help out everywhere
• Is interested in remote cruising / adventurous itinerary
• Enjoys working within a family setting
