Captain/Engineer – 80’ Charter Yacht- Melbourne- Seasonal or Permanent

MYS Superyacht Crew is on the search for an experienced captain/engineer to join a prestigious charter yacht based in the heart of Melbourne city.

The yacht captures the high-end charter market of Melbourne and is typically used for short day cruises of 3-4 hours.

The yacht however will also be used privately for a few weeks over the summer where the yacht will venture south for fishing and offshore cruising

The position is live on board however will also be open to local Melbourne captains with their own accommodation ashore.

The Managers are flexible on the term of employment and will consider a short summer contract, 6-month contract or someone willing to do repeat seasons, or as permanent

Terrific opportunity to live, work and experience Melbourne during its peak time in the summer months.

Owners trip will be taken down towards Portsea , mainly short dive / fishing excursions and relaxed lunches onboard with few overnighters

Ideal candidate

• Live aboard
• White boat experience, must be willing to wash, maintain etc
• MED2 & Master 5 minimum qualification
• Busy charter boat, with casual staff coming aboard for all charters
• Owners charter during January, operate tenders with seasonal Stewardess/Deckhand
• Full work rights for Australia

Employment Term- Flexible, short or long-term options

Start Date- When Found

Salary- 100k DOE ($1925 per week, plus Superannuation).
