We are urgently looking for an Executive Sous Chef to run the kitchen of a private residence based in South West Paris. You must be experienced within 5* environments with extremely high standards. You will be need to be flexible in your menu planning, cooking classic French cuisine but be prepared to provide a range a different cuisines based on the Principal's personal recommendations. There is potential to grow the kitchen team, so you'll be empowered to lead and recruit a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Creating tailored menus based on the Principal's request
  • Catering for formal and informal dinner parties
  • Catering to a variety of dietary requirements and requests

  • Experience within a 5* private residence
  • Very well presented
  • Highly experienced
  • Flexible & enthusiastic

Package Salary: Depending on experience

Accommodation: Live-out

French contracts

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm

Longer hours when the residence is full, so flexibility is required

25 days annual leave

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
