Position: HEAD CHEF - charter, private and for crew
Salary: 5.000 – 5.500 by value
Yacht: 42m Motor Yacht - Private/light Charter
Start date : ASAP
Requirements: STCW+ refresher as needed, Food safety/hygiene certificate, Security awareness.
CULINARY TRAINED
Ship Cook is also preferred
experience working on mid size yacht as sole Chef or working on larger yacht as Sous Chef and ready to move up. Professionally trained at Culinary Institute, or at least working in reputable restaurants. Excellent references. Need a knowledge of varied cuisines or willingness to learn to cook anything. Cook without flours skills to cook fishes and vegetables and cooking without flour . Experience in provisioning, if not in yachting then in restaurants. Skills with budgeting and keeping accounts. Experience with safe food storage and attention to cleaning schedules. Will also ENJOY cooking for crew! Nice personality and no drama types. Passport valid minimum 1 year.
Responsibilities: Everything is made from scratch. Owners, charter guests and crew enjoy a large variety of healthy cuisines. High standards on this yacht.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
