An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join a high profile 60m+ private/charter Motor Yacht.
My client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef that has a minimum of 2 years experience on a similar size yacht and a team player that takes direction well from an experienced Head Chef.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of a range of cuisine including French, Italian and Creole inspired dishes.
The required documents are:
- STCW's updated
- ENG1
- B1/B2
- Food and Hygiene Level II
- Culinary certificate (Ships Cook Certificate preferred)
In return my client is offering the following package:
$5000 per month salary to increase to $5500 after probation period
Industry standard holiday allowance
Medical coverage
A professional and enthusiastic working environment
Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
