A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced Cook/Stew to be based out of the Gold Coast.
Meals are mainly onboard, so a hardworking, well organised and experienced crew member is required. Must be comfortable cooking a wide variety of cuisines, however the food requirement is family style/ home cooking.

This position will involve meal preparation, cooking, cleaning and assisting the skipper with upkeep of the vessel.
The yacht maintains a Gold Coast home port and therefore would suit someone looking to be based within the region

The yacht is used privately only and is a family friendly yacht

The owners are a boating family who enjoy sharing their yacht with friends and family onboard.

The vessel will undertake a mixture of overnight and day cruises, with a fun, relaxed water sports focus.

Seeking a long-term commitment and a candidate who has a stable work history. The Vessel must be kept in pristine condition and a tidy manner at all times and the security of the vessel must be maintained, even when unattended.

Please note that No Smoking is allowed on the vessel.

You will be responsible for:

• Meal Preparation, cooking of family style meals, serving and associated tasks
• Stewardess on board for drinks, canapes and servicing small functions
• Assist the captain with lines and fenders
• Performing day to day upkeep on the vessel
• Full work rights for Australia

Salary- To the candidate’s experience level and negotiable (paid in Australian dollars) + standard Australian entitlements
