Head Chef 45m Private MY – South Pacific Islands, Indo, Borneo, Philippines, Thailand

A unique opportunity has become available on a 45m private MY that is currently undertaking a world tour.

The yacht is run with a fun and active crew of 10 who thoroughly enjoy getting out and about in the various destinations they visit around the globe.
(All of the crew dive and enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, kayaking etc)

The owner is extremely personable and is hoping to forge a long-term working relationship with a passionate chef

The departing chef has been with the owners for several years and the owner is hoping for the same long-term success with the incoming chef

His culinary preferences centres around classic English tastes with the odd traditional Indian curry.

A chef who has spent time around the pub gastrom scene or Brick Lane in London would be highly considered.

Currently cruising the South Pacific Islands, the yacht will head to Australia and onto the Louisiade Archipelago in PNG for some off the beaten track cruising.

From there the yacht will head to Raja Ampat, Borneo, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore for Annuals, into Thailand for Christmas/New Year

The Ideal Candidate

• 1-3 years experience as a chef on superyachts
• Strong restaurant background
• Pub Gastrom, classic English , Indian culinary strengths
• Loves adventure and off the beaten track cruising
• Enjoys being a part of a tight knit crew family
• Can provision locally and remotely (when required)
• Can keep accurate and clean, organised stores
• Looking for something long term
• STCW, ENG 1

Start Date- Mid/Late September

Salary – As starting guide only $6000 - $7000 US / Month, Negotiable and on experience, standard MLC leave entitlements + medial + flights
