Chief Engineer- 6 Month Contract- 125’ charter yacht- Fijian Islands

Are you a class 2 engineer interested in spending winter in Fiji?

A 125’ charter yacht is on the search for an MEC2 engineer for a 6-month contract in Fiji and Noumea

The period term will run from Late April to Late October with the possibility for extension

The yacht will undertake mostly term charters over this period with decent breaks between trips.

The engineer will also have a mate/ 2nd engineer for assistance  

There is a high standard onboard this yacht and the engineer will be expected to approach the job with a high level of professionalism.

While some yacht experience would be advantageous, the position is also open to a class 2 engineer looking to make the bridge over to white boats.

The ideal candidate

• Class 2 engineer (MEC2)
• STCW & Seafarer medical
• Can adopt a hands-on approach
• Very organised with parts and spares
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Some AV/IT experience
• Can take an active involvement amongst the crew
• Looking to offer a firm commitment

Start Date- Late April (or sooner)

Finish- Late October (with possibility to extend)

Salary- $10,000 - $11,000 AUD / Month DOE + Flights
