Deck/ Cook 70’ SY – Whitsundays, Indonesia, Coco’s Keeling, Mauritius, South Africa

Are you an experienced sailor looking for an amazing itinerary?

Are you interested in enjoying the varied destinations the yacht visits?

A private SY is on the search for a versatile deck/stew (female for cabin arrangements) to join them for their next adventure.

The yacht will sail various locations of the East Coast before moving onto Indonesia, Coco’s Keeling, Mauritius and onto South Africa.

The program will span over a 6-12-month period and guests will fly on at various locations along the journey to enjoy the new destinations.

The position would suit an experienced sailor who is looking to gain more experience on private yachts with a hospitality focus

The ideal candidate must be a versatile allrounder who can assist with some very basic cooking requirements while also maintain a watch on passage.

The yacht typically takes on additional delivery crew for the longer ocean passages but maintains a fulltime crew compliment of 3

The crew also enjoy an active lifestyle and the deck/cook must be interested in getting out and about and enjoying the destinations on route

Criteria

• Sail yacht experience on sail vessels between 50-80’ in length
• Yachtmaster Sail (preferred)
• Some basic navigation experience
• Maintain a watch, change & stow sails as required
• Easy going personality who gets along with crew and guests living in close quarters
• Happy to assist across departments
• Some cooking and basic provisioning experience
• A talented allrounder, who enjoys role variety
• Looking for sea miles and to progress knowledge
