We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a world cruising 80m research vessel on a time for time rotation. Along with the Head Chef you will be responsible for cooking for 24 crew and up to 20 scientists with an emphasis placed on producing a rich variety of healthy food for all on board.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic chef who is a real team player, those with a general interest in oceanographic science, a Ships Cook Certificate and a B1/B2 visa will be looked upon favourably, however, if you do not hold a B1/B2 visa then assistance will be provided to secure one prior to joining.

Start Date: January 2019
Rotation: 2.5 months on 2.5 months off
Salary: Upon application

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
