- 122 days leave per year! 4:2 Rotation
This beautiful and very large Motoryacht is seeking an experienced 4th engineer to assist in all areas of engine room, ancillary equipment and hotel services.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position on board 100-m+ yachts or cruise ships
The successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch III/1 (mandatory)
- Valid passport (mandatory)
- Valid ENG1 (mandatory, valid 6 months)
- Valid Seafarers' Discharge Book (mandatory)
- Valid STCW basic bafety training (mandatory)
- Medical First Aid (mandatory)
- Survival Craft & Rescue Boat other than Fast Rescue Boat (mandatory)
- Advanced Firefighting (mandatory)
- Designated security duties certificate (mandatory)
- Safety training for personnel providing direct service to passengers in passenger spaces (preferred)
- Crisis Management (preferred)
- Helideck Assistant & Dangerous Goods (preferred, HAD)
- Helideck Emergency Response Team Member (preferred, HERTM)
Required Experience in the following:
- 5 years’ experience in similar position on 100m+ yachts, passenger/cruise ships
- Able to work under management of senior engineers and report accurately
- Working in a traceable manner, keeping daily records and equipment history
- High work ethic, consideration for details, keeping neat and tidy workplaces
- Experienced with all passenger ships machineries, in engine room and hotel services
- Team player, excellent interaction with other colleagues and departments
- Working according to the highest safety and security standards
- Proactive to problems and finding solutions under pressure
- Experienced watch keeper on large passenger ships
- Experienced with HV propulsion plant operation
- Proficient with computers and mobile devices
- Good communication skills, positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and inventory skills

SALARY/PACKAGE
Salary: Euro TBC per month
LEAVE
122 paid leave days per year 4:2 rotation

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
