We are currently working with a private, 60m M/Y to recruit a chef to start in March.

The yacht: 60m based in the Med at present. Private usage over summer with demanding UHNWI owners. Great, professional crew in place with good longevity.

The position: Cooking for 14 crew and up to 12 guests. Sharing the galley with 1 chef during owners' trips and cooking alone for crew off trip. Initially seasonal but with large potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The person: Must have a vast wealth of very high end experience. Michelin star highly preferable. Familiar with a very broad range of cuisine but good knowledge of Asian cuisines and cultures preferable. Comfortable to be worked hard during trips - long hours and a very high standard of food expected. Impeccable presentation, timing and delicious, original menus. During trips, there will be 1 other chef in the galley to share the workload. Great opportunity to join an excellent crew and the potential for a great, long-term and rewarding job.

The package: Very good, DOE, shared cabin during trips but single cabin off trip.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
