Permanent Chef required for 35m Private M/Y in S/E Australia (CHPL)

We are currently searching for an experienced Chef to join the crew of six on this 35m luxury motor yacht. You will need to have a mature personality and previous yacht experience.  The yacht is Private, cruising predominately around the Sydney areas with Family and friends. This is a permanent live aboard / or ashore position where the Owners use the yacht a great deal throughout the Summer months, with generally, a quieter winter program.  There could be options of Reef or Pacific Island trips next winter also.

Your duties will include provisioning and cooking for guests and crew, while also assisting with general vessel duties when not busy. The standard of food produced on board must exceed expectations in both flavour and presentation with a lot of influence in light, healthy cuisines, and an emphasis on seafood, diverse poultry, salads, veges, low carbs and Fusion.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• STCW
• ENG1
• Food & Hygiene
• Chef qualifications and strong cooking skills
• Previous yachting experience.
• You will need to be extremely organised, and be able to provision the freshest products locally
• You must have the required paperwork and/or rights to work in Australia

Start date: Early December            

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
