We are currently working with a highly prestigious Motor Yacht to recruit a Deck Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional Officer to join an industry leading team. Applicants will need to be serious, career minded and conscientious maritime professionals.

Quiet itinerary

The Role:

Deck Officer
Reporting into the Chief Officer & Captain
Duties split between the bridge and exterior deck work (assisting deck team)
Secure & long term position

The Person:

Proven OOW, either yachts or commercial
Tender driving abilities
Yachting experience is considered a plus, however commercial experience will be considered
Superyacht deck experience will be looked upon very favourably
A desire to work within a highly professional and respected team
Understanding of the quiet itinerary on-board

Start: Mid-Late November 2017
Salary: TBD
Leave: 4 months on / 2 months off

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
