Chief Engineer 45m + Private Motor Yacht- ASIA

Are you an experienced engineer who holds a Y3 or equivalent?

Joining a crew of 9, the engineer will join in Australia for a thorough handover over with the current chief engineer.

New engines have been recently fitted with any immediate future works being covered by warranty, the engineer will look after general servicing and preventative maintenance.

Currently in Darwin the yacht will soon depart in a few weeks for Indonesia where it will be looking to be based, used primarily for day trips and shorter excursions.

The chief will have an experienced 2nd engineer working under him for support and be given a good handover.

Good mix of nationalities on board but the majority consisting of Australian crew.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a Y3 or Equivalent
• Will have some previous yacht experience
• Have good technical knowledge 
• Can work within a dynamic team
• Good communication skills and record keeping

Start Date: ASAP

Location: East Coast Australia

Salary: $8000-$9000 US / Month

Leave: 6 weeks + 2 return flights

The Engineer will be a good team player, enjoy the outdoors, watersports and travelling remote Island regions.

Must have a love of Adventure !
