Rotational Chief Engineer — 50m Charter Motor Yacht

Seeking an experienced, practical Chief Engineer who enjoys hands-on engineering, takes pride in maintaining high standards and brings a positive team attitude.

You will take full responsibility for engineering operations, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and technical systems, working closely with the existing rotational Chief Engineer to build a reliable long-term partnership.

Following an extensive Alaskan season, the yacht is preparing for a busy yard period in Washington State, followed by cruising in Central America and Alaska for Summer 2027.

Requirements
- Y3 qualification or above.
- Proven engineering experience on similar-sized vessels.
- B1/B2 visa essential.
- Strong fault-finding and practical repair skills.
- Professional, approachable and calm under pressure.
- Previous charter experience highly advantageous.

Package
- Start: 1 December 2026.
- Salary: US$8,000 — non-negotiable.
- Rotation: 2 months on / 2 months off.
- Full medical insurance.
- Charter gratuities split evenly between the rotational engineers.
