About This role

Seasonal 2nd Chef 60m private M/Y

Start Date: 1st February 2027
Location: Europe / Northern Red Sea
Package: Salary in euros, leave included

Experience and attributes required :

– Minimum 1 year’s yachting experience on 40m+ with prior restaurant/ chalet experience favoured
– Excellent attention to detail, hygiene and food safety
– Must be able to work well under pressure and remain calm at all times
– Experience and knowledge of diverse international cuisines

Qualifications required:

– STCW fully updated
– Security awareness and PDSD
– Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (with 6 months’ validity)
– Food and Hygiene Level 2 minimum
– Ship’s cook certificate desired
– Seaman’s Discharge Book

Only candidates meeting the listed criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
