About This role

Shipyard Carpenter – Private 60m MY

Start date: 1st November 2026 to 30th January 2027
Location: Europe
Package: Salary in Euros, leave included

Experience and attributes required:

  • At least one season experience as deckhand/carpenter on board 60m+ yachts; refit experience is a positive.
  • Experience with various touch up jobs is preferred such as Konig touch up course etc.
  • Keen and happy to help with any requests from Deck and Interior team as most jobs will be touch ups in the interior spaces.
  • Someone who is dynamic and able to adapt to a varied and fast paced operation.

Qualifications required:

  • Carpentry Qualification / Completed an Apprenticeship
  • Updated STCW
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Candidates should ensure they meet all listed criteria.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
