Description

50 meter private/charter yacht is looking for a rotational Y2 Chief Engineer.

- 490 GT - Cayman Islands flag, commercial yacht, ABS classed

- 12 guests / 10 crew

- Twin Caterpillar 3512 main engines, approx. 3,356 kW total (4,500 hp), twin shafts, Reintjes WVS 730 gearboxes, approx. 18.5 kn

- 2 x Northern Lights M1066A1 (John Deere) 130 kW generators

- Quantum QC-1500E zero-speed stabilizers with QIS-160 HPU

- 2 x FCI Neptune watermakers (2,500 GPD), Alfa Laval fuel purifier

- Owner-run program with charter

THE ROLE

- Chief Engineer on rotation (2:2, time for time)

- Minimum MCA Y2 (or equivalent) given the 3,356 kW propulsion power; Y1/Unlimited welcome

- Caterpillar experience strongly preferred, plus aluminium hull experience

- Ideally joining late October / early November in Fort Lauderdale
