About This role

Chief Engineer – Private/Charter – 40m Motor Yacht (LF-5251)

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 40m Motor Yacht. The vessel operates on a dual season itinerary and will return to USA for Caribbean season in October.

Start date: Immediate
Start: South Of France
Salary: Paid in USD, 60 days leave

Experience and attributes required:

  • 2+ years of yachting experience
  • Experience on similar size vessels as a Chief Engineer
  • Good communicator
  • Positive personality

Qualifications required:

  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Chief Engineer 3000kw / Y3 minimum
  • B1B2 visa essential

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
