Rotational Chief Engineer Needed for 120m+ Private Motor Yacht

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to join a 120m+ private motor yacht, operating worldwide for UHNW principals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all engineering systems onboard, ensuring reliability and operational excellence at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as Chief Engineer on large private motor yachts (80m+)
Valid Chief Engineer Unlimited license (or equivalent)
Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, generators, propulsion, and auxiliary systems
Strong understanding of planned maintenance systems (PMS) and technical budgeting
Experience managing engineering teams and overseeing contractors and shipyards
Solid knowledge of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state compliance
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage)
Flexibility to work irregular hours and extended operational periods
Valid passport and availability to travel worldwide at short notice
Excellent, verifiable references from comparable vessels

Package:

Monthly salary: USD 22,000 (Rotation: 1 month on / 1 month off – paid during both on and off periods)
