An exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a newly launched private/charter yacht, operating a dual-season program moving forwards. Working within a galley team of three, this role offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on both crew and guest food.

The role:

  • Support with both crew and guest food - work closely with the wider team and mentor junior chefs.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to run a high-standard, professional galley.
  • Start date: December; ideally you will have your B1/B2 in hand.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous Sous Chef experience on a similar-sized yacht.
  • Confident cooking for 20+ crew, with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
  • Ideally you will have a restaurant background and formal culinary training.
  • Adaptable and able to work within a busy galley environment.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
