Captain position - 28m - Motor yacht

Description

Seeking a hands-on, well-traveled, experienced Captain for a private, 28m Expedition style M/Y.

Vessel is a 180GT, therefore you must have experience on a vessel that has been at least this tonnage per insurance. Must have open ocean experience as the vessel is world cruising.

Vessel is looking for someone with a sense of adventure that is willing to commit to a 3-year world traveling program to include the Caribbean, Cook Islands and the Mediterranean.

Open to male and female candidates.

Preference is for Australian, British, South African or New Zealand candidates.

Open to a team with a Stew/Cook- Someone with experience in cooking for crew- not a Chef. Owner will bring a Chef if he needs one.

Owner will be onboard for roughly 3 weeks out of every 5. There will be 3 crew in total.

Vessel is currently in Florida and doing a refit to outfit and reconfigure the crew area.

B1/B2 visa, STCW, ENG1, 200T license or greater. MUST have experience running a vessel with at least 180gt or above.

Salary: DOE

Start: Immediate

Full medical with 4 weeks leave per year.
