A 50m private motor yacht is seeking an experienced Relief Chief Engineer for approximately one month, from mid-September to mid-October.
The vessel may undertake a guest trip during the contract, including some diving activities, although this is not yet confirmed.
The successful candidate will have the support of a Deck/Assistant Engineer, but must be comfortable and willing to work independently for periods, taking responsibility for all aspects of the engineering operation and day-to-day maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Experienced as a Chief Engineer on similar-sized yachts
• Qualified to Y3 or equivalent
• Confident working independently and managing all engineering requirements onboard
• Adaptable and flexible with joining dates
• Comfortable with the operational demands of a private motor yacht
Contract: Approximately 1 month
Dates: Mid-September – Mid-October, +/- a few days

Salary: USD $9,500/month + 7 days accrued leave
